We are seeking self-motivated,energetic, detail oriented, highly organized, tech-savvy Registered Nurses to join our Workers' Compensation Field Case Management team. Act as Liaison, patient advocate, and medical consultant to insurance adjusters. Medically manage medical and RTW (return to work) coordination for Workers' Compensation claims.
Part time 32hr/wk position for Indianapolis, IN area
Fundamental Components but not limited to the following:
Ability to travel within a designated geographic area for in-person case management activities
Knowledge of laws and regulations governing delivery of rehabilitation services.
Job-specific technical knowledge, (e.g., knowledge of workers compensation and disability industry for workers compensation case managers or case management).
Local Daily Travel-must have reliable car/mileage reimbursement provided.
3 years minimum clinical practice.
7-10 years of Medical experience as a registered nurse is preferred.
Previous Case Management and/or UR experience is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Effective communications, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently (may require working from home).
Proficiency with standard corporate software applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, as well as some special proprietary applications.
Effective computer skills including navigating multiple systems and keyboarding
Spanish is a plus
The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Nursing/Registered Nurse is required
Must have CCM or agreeable to expectation to obtain CCM within one year of hire (Requirement of Indiana).
