The provider can work either two 24 hour shifts per week or two to three 12 hour shifts and will be on call. The provider will see around 8 neonatal patients a day. The locum will work on neonatal cases - some babies withdrawing from drugs kept for 5 to 7 days and sick babies transferred to CCMC.
