The Associate Product Coordinator works with all Product Coordinators to assist with tasks as needed and prioritized by the Team Lead for Products, Tech Services. The Associate Product Coordinator will provide technical communications and support to business customers including customer field support and troubleshooting, field trials for product commercialization, product approvals and registrations, product label review, and used oil analysis. All communications from the Associate Product Coordinator will be reviewed by the appropriate Product Coordinator or Research Scientist before submission to any customer or marketer.
Responsibilities may include :
Providing technical services and custom problem-solving support to P66's Lubricants customers and sales representatives.
Providing product analyses, data interpretation and written reports to customers regarding product performance or complaints.
Providing best practice advice and recommendations to customers and sales representatives regarding product selection, applications, lube/equipment maintenance and optimization.
Coordinating and/or assisting in major complaint investigations; serving as back-up to field lube engineers.
Designing and coordinating field tests programs in support of new product development and/or applications.
Developing, acquiring and maintaining product approvals/registrations with key OEM's and approval organizations.
Providing technical input and review for the development of technical product literature and training materials, assuring accuracy of product claims and applications.
Providing industry perspective and knowledge of customer applications within assigned product/segment areas of responsibility.
Conducting sales and technical presentations (internal, marketers, sales force and consumers).
Engaging in internal and external communications.
Conducting performance of job with leadership in safe work practices in laboratory, at customers work sites and in adherence to all HSE policies of P66
Working and Traveling in a safe manner.
Legally authorized to work in the job posting
Bachelor's degree in a technical related field; for example: Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry
3 or more years of direct technical marketing/sales experience
5 or more years of direct experience presenting to and influencing both internal and/or external customers
5 or more years of direct technical marketing/sales experience in lubricants
Hands on mechanical experience including knowledge of industrial gears, pumps, compressors, hydraulic systems and/or engines
Working knowledge of lubricant products and product applications
STLE CLS certification or industry experience equivalent
Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
Fluency in a foreign language, both spoken and written, such as Spanish
